You want to oppose the transfer of your data appearing in the commercial files

 

Your name, address, and other information is contained in a large number of business files. The amended law of 6 January 1978 - known as the Data Protection Act - provides for a right of opposition (article 38, paragraph 2). This allows you to object to appearing in certain files or to refuse the communication (transfer or marketing) of information concerning you to third parties for the purposes of commercial prospecting.

 

To exercise your right, send a letter to the company or organization holding the file, using the attached model, and attach a photocopy of an identity document.
