A merchant in your neighborhood does not post prices. You report it to the DDPP agents

In a shoe store, you spotted a great pair of black ankle boots, but you can't see the price. However, traders or service providers are required to inform consumers about the prices of the products or services they offer. If you notice a violation of this rule, you can request the intervention of agents from a departmental population protection directorate (DDPP or DDCSPP).

Article 1 of the amended decree of December 3, 1987 provides that "any information on the prices of products or services must show, whatever the medium used, the total sum, all taxes included, which must actually be paid by the consumer […] ”.

If you are the victim of a violation of these regulations, contact a consumer association or contact the DDPP directly. You can also enter it if you notice a difference between the price advertised on the shelf and that displayed when the barcode is passed at the checkout.

Dear,

I would like to point out to you that in the store (store name) located (store address),

(1st case) the prices of the following products (quote the name of the products) are not displayed.

(2nd case) the prices of the following products (quote the name of the products) invoiced at the cash desk do not correspond to those displayed on the shelves where they are located.

These frequent incidents are particularly troublesome for the consumer. So I would be grateful if you would have checks carried out by agents of your administration in order to put an end to these practices.

I thank you in advance and please accept, Madam, Sir, the expression of my best regards.
