The construction of your house is not completed within the timeframe set by the contract. You give notice to the manufacturer
You have signed a contract for the construction of a single-family house with the provision of a plan. The work has stopped. The time limit for completion of the work provided for in the contract will not be respected by the builder.
You must first give notice to the company to complete the work, as well as to pay you the late payment penalties provided for in the contract, in accordance with Article L. 231-2, i, of the Construction Code and housing.
Then be aware that if the manufacturer does not react following the sending of the formal notice, you can contact the establishment which provides him with a delivery guarantee, in accordance with article L. 231-6 of the same code ( see letter "Your house is not finished. You are claiming against the builder's guarantor", page 95).

Failure to comply with this deadline results in late penalties of up to (…) euros (indicate the late payment penalties included in the contract).

I hereby put you on notice to resume work immediately and to pay me the late payment penalties as provided for in the contract.
If work is not resumed within a week, I will be obliged to ask your guarantor (name) to perform his obligations, in accordance with article L. 231-6 of the Construction and Housing Code. .
