Got a problem?
kamal can help you!
I’ve got a problem. I can’t decide what
to do and I need some advice. I play in
the school football team and I usually
play quite well.
But last month everything went wrong.
During the week before the match, I was
feeling a bit ill. But I continued to go to
practice every day. This of course didn’t
help me get any better. As a result, on
the day of the big match I was feeling
horrible. I even had a fever but I didn’t tell
anyone because I didn’t want to miss the
match. You see, it was a very important
game and my teammates were expecting
me to be there, so I played.
Before the match started, I had a bit
of a headache so I took a painkiller and
thought I would soon be OK. But during
the game, my stomach started hurting,
too. It just kept getting worse and worse.
At some point, I was standing very close
to the goal and the ball came to me. It
was an easy goal, but my stomach ache
was really bad and I missed the ball.
My teammates were very upset that
we didn’t win, and I feel like I made the
wrong decision. The problem is that we
have another big match in a few days and
I’ve got a bit of a sore throat. Do I say I
can’t play, or not? The team really needs
me and my teammates will be upset if I
don’t go. What should I do?
