Becoming a locum doctor requires self-discipline and dedication to

the role. If you plan to be a full-time locum, it is essential that you

properly manage your time in order to keep a regular working schedule

• It is unlikely that you will receive sick-pay or be entered into a pension

scheme, and conditions like maternity/paternity rights may differ;
