Analytical Exercises and Corrective Gymnastics.

Sometimes you will have to resort to correct bad atti studies, to movements localized effects. Ling, Demeny and many French or foreign teachers offer us different, but effective means of correction, if they are used wisely by qualified educators.

The doctor will indicate all the deficient subjects justiciable of a treatment by the corrective gymnastics or the motor rehabilitation. We must recognize that in this regard, a lot remains to be done in our country. The training of the necessary personnel will be undertaken as soon as possible with the necessary means.

The rehabilitation of deficient subjects can then be carried out methodically by specialist teachers, under enlightened medical supervision.

Hygiene and the Development of Organic Resistances.

              General and sports education must reserve an important place for the development of organic resistance through the practice of well-understood natural hygiene.

"Organic resistances," says G. Hébert[4] , condition the state of health. Natural training develops general resistance to work and gives substance ; but this fund reaches a degree all the higher and a value all the more lasting as the vital organs are of better quality, have a more powerful functioning and are better trained to endure everything. The general physical value of a subject is thus intimately linked to the organic state.

The development of organic resistance depends on the judicious use of the following means:

Life and work in the great outdoors in all weathers ;

Physical work pushed daily until normal or healthy fatigue (the best work then being moving);

Ample breathing, natural consequence of the regular practice of physical exercises and especially of movement ;

Natural atmospheric baths of air, sun, rain ;

Large open water baths ;

Ablutions and skin care ;

Measure in all things, which implies a regulated life free of excess or excess, but not of struggle and efforts of all kinds;

9. The necessary rest taken on time and of sufficient duration;

10. The usual nervous calm ;

11. A sufficiently renewed fight against extremes and opposites ”.
