Youth hostel

Looking for cheap accommodation in Qatar? No need to look long. There is only one youth hostel in the country!

The recent Doha B Youth Hostel, a member of Hostelling International, has a major disadvantage: it is located on Al-Rayhan Street, a hidden street in the residential Al-Lakta neighborhood (generally unknown taxis), far enough away to west of the center, about 7 km from the bay. Bus # 45 takes you there, but it's a long drive and it's best to drive. The dormitories (30 € / pers), separated by sexes, have small parallel beds (good mattresses), flat screen TV, AC, fridge and wifi. There are also rooms for 2 (59 €) or 3 people (88 €) with private bathrooms that are well worth those of some hotels. There is also parking, laundry facilities and computers available. The places are clean but do not expect a festive atmosphere ...
