Influence vectors: Several vectors convey this image of Lebanon. This is true of international media, emblematic Lebanese figures who are ambassadors for their country and a particularly active diaspora with a strong mobilization potential to promote all national symbols, whether they are sustainable or ephemeral.
Indeed, there are dozens of Lebanese TV channels that broadcast via satellite and broadcast their programs worldwide. This is the case of the LBC, MTV, and Future TV, to name only these iconic chains, not to mention the major circulation newspapers and exported around the world, such as the newspaper Al-Nahar and its versions French-speaking, the Orient Le Jour. The video clip is a significant vector in the diffusion of a way of life, and a Lebanese state of mind, in the Arabic-speaking world, especially in the early 2000s [41].

The muses of Lebanon are, for their part, numerous and present in all the fields for which Lebanon has a world-wide reputation. We no longer present Elie Saab and Zuhair Murad for example, haute couture designers whose creations are on the podiums of the most prestigious art festivals. The world of the song is not left with singers whose reputation is not to make such Fairuz, Sabah, Wadih Essafi, Sabah Fakhri, Majida al-Rumi, or other more recent even from the diaspora Lebanese, such as Colombian Shakira or Canadian Massari. Lebanese literature, too, has its iconic figures such as Gibran Khalil Gibran and Mikhail Nuaima who initiated the Arab literary renaissance in Syria and Lebanon in the early twentieth century, or, more recently, the French-Lebanese author Amin Maalouf who was elected to the French Academy in 2011 to succeed Lévy Strauss

Amin Maalouf is also part of the Lebanese diaspora that has been formed in successive waves since the mid-nineteenth century. This diaspora is very active and although it is made up of several generations, it remains largely attached to its country of origin and continues to invest in various ways to support Lebanon, whether through material support through its transfers towards Lebanon or intangible through its positions and its mobilization for Lebanon abroad. As an example, the enthusiasm generated by the passage of the Lebanese Anthony Touma in the French version of The Voice in 2013 is representative of the mobilization capacity of the Lebanese diaspora to promote the image of Lebanon and the Lebanese to abroad.

NGO: Lebanese NGOs in Lebanon have been booming in recent years and their network is gradually becoming established, but their sphere of influence remains limited, in most cases, in Lebanon to defend national causes, although in some cases, raise foreign funds. The most discussed topics are violence against women (this is the case of the NGO Kafa, for example), the need for reforms and the fight against corruption (such as the LTA, Lebanse Transparency Association), the struggle for a Civil Code and a secular personal status (Lebanese Association for Human Rights), defense of human rights, health and development. Lebanon is even the only Arab country to have an association for the protection of homosexuals, bisexuals and transsexuals, the NGO Helem (which means both dream, and magnanimity in Arabic, depending on how the term is vocalized). However, not all NGOs are secular, some are community-based and faith-based, as is the Charities Association, the charitable institution of Mohammad Hussein Fadhlallah, a Shiite cleric and spiritual leader of Hezbollah, which centralizes activities of social, educational and health centers. This is also the case of Caritas Lebanon, which is the local branch of the international confederation of charitable Catholic organizations that provides assistance to the poor, regardless of race or religion.
