Home repair. You dispute a convenience store's excessively high bill

 

You phoned in a disaster to a home repair company. If the amount claimed by the latter seems manifestly too high compared to the work performed (time spent or type of intervention performed), or if the work does not correspond to your request, refuse to pay immediately.

 

When your attempts to settle this dispute amicably have no effect, you can alert the agents of the departmental directorate of population protection (DDPP) / departmental directorate of social cohesion and population protection (DDCSPP) if you consider that an offense has been committed (advertising of prices, quotes, fraud or deception, etc.).

While I called you to (indicate the work requested), your employee did (indicate the repairs carried out). The invoice presented to me is grossly disproportionate to the price it would have been normal to pay.
