This practice is regulated (article L. 122-3 of the Consumer Code): any professional who has provided you with goods or services without your express and prior commitment will be required, at your request, to return the amount used to you. without your agreement, increased by the legal interest rate from the date of payment, the rate itself increased by half from the date of the reimbursement request.
Thus, if your bank makes you automatically subscribe to a financial product or if an insurance company awards you an assistance contract without your prior agreement, ask it to reimburse you for the sums paid increased by the legal interest rate.
