The billionaire Milton Petrie lived in an apartment in New York. He helped a lot of  people whenever he heard about personal disasters in the newspapers. He sent generous cheques, especially to the families of policemen and firemen injured at work. He also sent a cheque to a beautiful model, whose face was cut in a knife attack. It cost him millions of dollars, but he still had millions left.
Milton Petrie died in 1994, he was 92. He left about $ 150 million. His widow, Carrol, his fourth and last wife, said his generosity was as a result of the poverty of his early years. His father was a Russian immigrant, who became a policeman, but he never arrested anyone, he was too kind.

Comprehension
Read the following passage then answer the questions below:
We all know that money is necessary, for many various purposes. Of course, this doesn’t mean that money is the only important thing in life, and that it is the only source of happiness. What will the use of money be if it is spent unwisely and carelessly? Naturally, money which is ill-spent brings no real happiness or pleasure to us. On the contrary, it may be very harmful. So to enjoy life we must have two things other than richness, namely health and wisdom.
Health is a splendid treasure that completes our happiness. We cannot  really enjoy life if we are not healthy, however wealthy we may be. How proud we feel when we possess sound bodies that enable us to work hard to earn living, or to bear the roughest circumstances in life, or to practice a certain favourite game that brings us great joy. On the other hand, if we are unhealthy and weak, we shall never be able to pursue our pleasures, and life will mean nothing except pain, suffering and  sadness. So both money and health are necessary.
Last of all comes wisdom. If we are foolish, we shall never be happy, however rich or healthy we may be. Wise people are very careful with their money and health; whereas foolish people soon waste their money or ruin their health. It is our mind that raises us above the rank of animals. So we should use it to secure happiness.

c- How to be healthy                                               d-Wisdom is the best policy
